The Romans perfected the art of brickmaking, using it to shape symbolic landmarks of imperial grandeur like the Red Basilica and Domus Tiberiana. This influence spread as they left behind legion-stamped bricks across their territories, a testament to their architectural prowess and reach. Eldorado Stone’s LoreioBrick collection pays homage to this legacy, merging the aesthetics of ancient Roman brickwork with contemporary craftsmanship. Drawing from more than 50 years of expertise in manufactured stone veneer (MSV) products, Eldorado Stone continues to evolve with facilities and distribution centers across the U.S.
LoreioBrick’s elongated form, a nod to Roman brick’s slender silhouette, is achieved through a precise hand-casting process that mirrors the structured elegance of Roman architecture. “LoreioBrick was heavily inspired by the linearity and grand scale of ancient Roman architecture,” says Sarah Lograsso, Director of Marketing and Product Management for Westlake Royal Stone Solutions. “We wanted to capture that timeless, structured elegance, but also modernize it for contemporary applications. The hand-casting process allowed us to create a longer silhouette compared to traditional brick shapes, and we were able to control the texture and detailing to give it a distinct, old-world feel.”
Available in four distinct colorways—Farola, Hollin, Lilia, and Talavera—LoreioBrick offers a range of aesthetic options that cater to diverse design needs. Farola, a blend of soft brown and flint gray with russet undertones, adds a warm, earthy vibe, ideal for creating grounded, traditional spaces. Hollin, a dark charcoal with smoky overtones, offers a dramatic, contemporary edge perfect for bolder interiors. Lilia, a bright white with cream and light gray undertones, is designed for clean, minimalist spaces, while Talavera’s warm gray with hints of brown and pewter works beautifully in transitional areas.
Lograsso emphasizes the versatility these colorways bring to both residential and commercial design applications, stating, “Each colorway was chosen to offer designers and homeowners a range of neutral, yet aesthetically diverse options.” The breadth of the palette allows the product to fit seamlessly into both rustic and modern spaces.
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, LoreioBrick taps into the growing trend of integrating indoor and outdoor spaces. Lograsso notes, “Our MSV products shine in providing organic textures that feel just as at home outdoors on a patio as they do indoors in a living room or kitchen, reflecting the broader trend of biophilic design and the desire to connect with nature in modern homes.”
For over five decades, Eldorado Stone has consistently pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in stone veneer products. From architectural focal points like entryways and fireplaces to textured accent walls, its offerings combine timeless elegance with modern convenience. With LoreioBrick, the company continues to innovate while remaining rooted in classic European design.
